James Strege

James Strege is passionate about helping clients feel supported and confident throughout their financial journey. As a Relationship Manager at Gilbert & Cook, he works alongside Advisors to help deliver a personal, responsive and well-coordinated client experience — supporting each relationship in a way that reflects the client’s unique needs and priorities.

James was drawn to wealth management by the opportunity to help people better understand their financial lives and make progress toward the goals that matter most to them. He especially enjoys the variety that comes with working with individuals and families whose financial situations are often complex and unique. With a particular interest in serving business owners, James appreciates the problem-solving required when personal and business financial decisions intersect.

Known for his attention to detail, clear communication and ability to listen carefully to client concerns, James strives to make financial matters feel more approachable and less stressful. He enjoys developing genuine relationships with clients and collaborating with the broader Gilbert & Cook team to find thoughtful solutions and deliver the high level of service clients have come to expect.
