Dawn Schneider

Dawn Schneider plays an important role in supporting the team at Gilbert & Cook, helping ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. As Executive Assistant, she works closely with Linda Cook and other team members to coordinate schedules, manage details and support the team’s ability to deliver thoughtful, high-quality service to clients.

Dawn is known for her organization, reliability and steady presence behind the scenes. She takes pride in helping create structure and clarity in a fast-paced environment — allowing advisors and leadership to remain focused on what matters most: serving clients and building meaningful relationships. Her attention to detail and proactive approach make her a valuable resource to both the team and the overall client experience.

Since joining Gilbert & Cook in 2021, Dawn has brought a diverse background in administrative and organizational roles across multiple industries. Her experience, combined with a genuine desire to help others, allows her to support the team with both efficiency and care.

Dawn and her husband, Mike, live in West Des Moines. They have two sons — Kellen, who lives in Los Angeles pursuing comedy writing and performance, and Cory, who enjoys connecting with people in his role at a local grocery store.

Dawn values time spent with family and brings warmth and humor to both her personal and professional life.
