Stephanie Duis leads the Client Service Team at Gilbert & Cook, ensuring that every client experience reflects the firm’s commitment to care, responsiveness and excellence. As Director of Client Service, she oversees the firm’s Relationship Managers and service professionals — guiding the systems, training and team development that support a seamless, high-touch client experience.

Stephanie is deeply passionate about people and believes exceptional service starts with strong relationships and a supportive team culture. She works closely with her team to create an environment where service professionals feel empowered, prepared and motivated to deliver consistent, thoughtful care to every client. Her leadership plays a critical role in helping clients feel known, supported and confident in every interaction with the firm.

Her career began in the insurance industry, where she quickly moved from personal lines into leadership roles, managing teams and developing training programs focused on growth and performance. This foundation shaped her approach to leadership today — combining structure, communication and mentorship to build a service model centered on trust and reliability.

At Gilbert & Cook, Stephanie is focused on elevating the client experience at every level, ensuring that behind every strategy and recommendation is a team dedicated to delivering service with intention and excellence.

Originally from the Quad Cities, Stephanie now calls the Des Moines area home with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring local favorites like Flying Mango and Big Grove, as well as spending time outdoors with their dog, Hoss.
