Ryan Lamoureux is driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of his clients. As an Associate Advisor at Gilbert & Cook, he works alongside the advisory team to support clients through a wide range of financial decisions — helping ensure they feel informed, supported and confident at every stage of their financial journey.

Ryan brings a relationship-first approach to his work, focused on understanding each client’s unique goals, concerns and priorities. He is known for his strong communication skills and ability to translate financial concepts into clear, practical guidance. By proactively addressing questions and anticipating needs, Ryan helps create a seamless and thoughtful client experience — one that reflects the high standard of care clients expect from Gilbert & Cook.

His passion for finance began early. From a young age, Ryan knew he wanted to pursue a career in the industry and he has remained committed to that path ever since. After earning his degree in business and finance from Iowa State University, he built a well-rounded foundation through a variety of roles across the financial services sector. Most recently, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, further strengthening his ability to provide comprehensive, client-focused advice.

Ryan is committed to continuous growth — both professionally and personally — and takes pride in helping clients navigate their financial lives with clarity, confidence and a long-term perspective.

Ryan and his wife, Anna, live in West Des Moines with their three children, Wells, Kit and Lyla. He enjoys spending time with family and staying connected to the community.

Each August, Ryan and his family operate their concession stand, Georgie’s, at the Iowa State Fair — a long-standing family tradition that reflects his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.
