Michelle Miller works closely with individuals and families navigating complex life and financial transitions — helping them move forward with clarity, confidence and a thoughtful plan. As an Advisor at Gilbert & Cook, she specializes in guiding clients through situations such as divorce, estate and generational planning and business succession, where both financial complexity and personal dynamics require a steady, experienced approach.

Michelle is passionate about supporting families through meaningful and often challenging moments. She understands that financial decisions during these transitions are rarely just about numbers — they are about people, relationships and long-term impact. By combining technical expertise with empathy and thoughtful guidance, Michelle helps clients align their financial strategies with their values and goals, both now and for future generations.

Her approach is highly personalized. Michelle recognizes that “a life of abundance” looks different for every client, and she enjoys helping them define what matters most — whether that includes funding education for future generations, planning for retirement, supporting charitable giving or thoughtfully transferring wealth. She works collaboratively with the Gilbert & Cook team to design strategies that address each client’s unique situation with care and precision.

Michelle began her career at Principal Financial Group and transitioned into financial advising with a clear goal: to help individuals and families achieve meaningful financial outcomes. Since joining Gilbert & Cook in 2021, she has continued to deepen her expertise, earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and becoming a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), further strengthening her ability to guide clients through complex transitions.

Michelle and her husband, Frank, enjoy spending time with family and friends, often hosting and cooking for those she loves. In her free time, she also enjoys walking her dog, reading and playing the piano.
