Jarret Sheets

Jarret Sheets works closely with high-income earners, executives and families to help them turn years of disciplined saving and smart decision-making into a clear path forward. As an Advisor at Gilbert & Cook, he focuses on guiding clients through key financial transitions — particularly the shift from accumulation to retirement — helping them understand what their wealth can truly support.

Jarret is passionate about building meaningful relationships and understanding what matters most to each client. He enjoys hearing the stories behind their success — from career milestones to family experiences — and takes pride in helping translate their hard work into opportunities to live more fully and intentionally. His approach is grounded in thoughtful planning, clear communication and a genuine desire to be a trusted partner in his clients’ lives.

With experience working with professionals and executives, Jarret brings a practical and relatable perspective to financial planning. He helps clients simplify complexity, evaluate their options and move forward with confidence — whether they are preparing for retirement, optimizing workplace benefits or aligning their financial lives with long-term goals.

Since entering the financial services industry after graduating from Coe College, Jarret has remained committed to continuous growth and client service. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2018, reinforcing his ability to deliver comprehensive, fiduciary advice tailored to each client’s unique situation.

Jarret and his wife, Jessica, live in Clive with their daughters, Sophie and Adeline. He enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, including cycling throughout central Iowa, hiking and traveling to new destinations.

He also enjoys exploring local breweries and experimenting in the kitchen — often trying out new recipes and sharing meals with family and friends.
