Jessi Swaim, CFP®, CEPA
Advisor
As an Advisor, Jessi takes pride in working closely with her clients, providing personalized guidance to help them meet their financial goals.
Jessi Swaim works closely with business owners, executives and individuals who are driven to make a meaningful impact in their lives and communities. As an Advisor at Gilbert & Cook, she is passionate about helping clients feel financially empowered — providing the clarity and confidence needed to make thoughtful decisions and move forward with purpose.
Jessi brings a highly personalized and relationship-driven approach to her work. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals, values and motivations, helping them align their financial strategies with what matters most. She is especially passionate about working with women who are seeking to take control of their financial future and create a lasting impact for themselves, their families and their communities.
With experience working alongside business owners and executives, Jessi has developed a strong focus on business succession and exit planning. After earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2017, she further expanded her knowledge by obtaining the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designation in 2022. This allows her to guide clients through the complexities of business transitions — helping them plan thoughtfully for the future while maximizing the value of what they have built.
Jessi is deeply committed to helping clients navigate complexity with confidence — whether they are growing a business, planning for a transition or aligning their financial lives with their long-term vision of abundance.
Outside of work, Jessi enjoys spending time with her family and staying active. A former Division I soccer player at the University of South Carolina, Jessi brings the same discipline, teamwork and drive that shaped her athletic career into the relationships she builds today. She continues to enjoy sports, going on walks while listening to true crime podcasts, reading and attending sporting events — especially cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium in the fall.
