As Human Resources and Talent Management at Gilbert & Cook, Debbie partners with firm leadership and an experienced team of professionals to support the firm's people strategy. Her work includes developing and administering HR policies and programs, attracting and retaining top talent, and aligning performance management and employee development with the firm's strategic goals.

Debbie joined Gilbert & Cook in May 2022, bringing 12 years of experience in retail management. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa in 2009 and obtained her SHRM-CP certification in 2022. Debbie is passionate about building strong professional relationships and creating development opportunities that help individuals and teams thrive.

A lifelong Iowa native, Debbie lives in Des Moines with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys international travel, exploring the Des Moines community-especially the downtown farmers market-staying active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
