Marlis Gilbert
MS, CFP^®, CDFA

A financial planner since 1983, Marlis received a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University, earned her Certified Financial Planner designation in 1985 and received a Master of Science degree from the College of Financial Planning in 1995. She earned her Divorced Financial Analyst (CDFA) designation in 2003. She is a past president and member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and member of the Mid-Iowa Estate and Financial Planners.

A lifelong resident of the Des Moines area, she is active in her church and community and is a past President of the Foundation Board for Children and Families of Iowa.

Marlis and her husband Gale, a PGA Golf Professional, have two sons.
